    see tommyo the problem is that the Ron Paul/ libertarian wing of the party is not all that big. The mainstream Republicans hate those guys. And then there are the social conservatives who want to shove their values down everyone's throat, which is the opposite of libertarianism. In pure numbers they are probably the biggest chunk of the Republican party.
