we are also happy because if nothing else this 'empty symbol' of the worlds largest power symbolises positive aspects of our nature, rather than fearmongering, aggressive, selfish and ignorant aspects.
If people are believing in and responding to this symbol, to what this man says he represents, then that alone will make everybodys lives a bit better
