  copy / paste
  OR
  make a blank style sheet with no font attributes and only tabs set. Then you can apply that to any style and it should work - but you'll probably lose the ability to quick-format the original stylesheet attributes.

  What does the eyedropper tool do when you try and use it for what you need?
