This is minor and totally subjective, but I just never really got down with the Akzidenz hype. It looks poorly drawn to me. There's a fine line between quirky and awkward, and I think Akzidenz steps over said line. Akzidenz Next, or whatever they call the redrawn version, however, is nice—much more even and legible.
