hahaha, so strange, I thought that joke might be the cause of more Beeb related strife on Sunday when I watched the show.
Thing is though its an old gag of his. He's said it before on TG and nobody batted an eyelid, and he's even used it in his Sunday Times column without causing any greif, so any attempt to chastise him now would be a knee jerk reaction caused by over-sensitivity at the Beeb.
