I think I was 10 or 11 when I had the closest thing to a 'ghost encounter' or maybe I should say UFO encounter..
I was in a vacation home with my parents and had become friends with the girl next-door. We went swimming that evening in the pool on the complex.. oh yes, I liked her, but hey I was 10 and didn't know the smooth moves to win a girls hear. After a couple of hours in the pool we walk back to our houses in the dark. Suddenly she sees something in the sky..it's pretty faint but when we walk to a darker part of the complex we can see it better. It appears to be a couple of lights flying in a circular formation. Then they vanish and reappear and do a multitude of arial acrobatics. We were stunned, a bit freigthened and had no idea of what it could be. So we ran to our parents and convince them to come out and look.. and then they drop the bomb.. it's nothing more than a laser-show from a nearby disco.
I went to see that girl once after the vacation, things didn't work out between us..
