    Politics in America is so different to here. So much more polarised, and people get so much more worked up about it over there.

    You know, part of me admires that, cos that kind of debate we've lsot here. Everyone's so apathetic in the UK, so disengaged from the political process, at least people think there's somethign worth fighting for over there.

    But the problem is, the reality, how it's played over there - with the sound bites and the media image. A lot of intelligent discourse is compeltely lost. It's all just a lot of slander, strawmen, and EMPTY RHETORIC.
