I like it, I'm not getting into this in great detail again but I thin kit workd well in teh context whjere for me it has to work best, which is up in the top corner of the box while there is various and disparate content banging on underneath it. For me that's why it needs to more quirky and less neutral than the previous I.D. because it needs to be clearly FIVE even though it almost always sits alongside other peoples content. Unlike, say, a fashion brand which needs to be understated and neutral as it mainly sits next to various ranges of clothing which are, season on season, the star of the show.
