Reasons I think O'bama is just another politician and not the "CHANGE" that he is trying so hard to portray...
1. Biden. Seriously. I had he had to gain some experience cred, but aligning yourself with a seasoned politician really rubbed me the wrong way. It didn't seem to be cohesive with his whole message.
2. Taxes. His whole "help the middle class out" emphasis rings a bit fake when you realize he is going to let the tax cuts expire. Yeah, that will really help me out O'bama - now I see how you are going to pay for all your grand ideas.
3. The Public Financing Promise - he obviously backed down on this one and is now more loaded than McCain. Again, seems to be contrary to his image.
4. Grand Plans. Really, they don't seem so great or revolutionary, they just seem like warmed over typical Democrat ideals.
Now, I understand all of these things might be necessary political moves to ensure that he wins. It just smells like the same old crap. To me, the intriguing persona of obama is really fading away as I get a clearer picture of what obama is all about.
- Hey, he's gotta' come up with some sorta' motto, right? Change like Carter from Ford; Obama from Bush.********
- I don't care...I'm really glad he had a change of heart about public financing. It was so necessary to compete.monkeyshine
- Americans only buy the same old crap. Innovation scares them.TheBlueOne
- What's innovative about Obama? Skin color? Sounds like the same old mumbo-jumbo to me.********
- then we hear things in different pitch.monkeyshine
