i went back from the city to the country and do some design work, and next to that i cycle a lot with a heavy backpack with photo equipment. sometimes even in bad weather, and sometimes over 40 km's per day. i hardly ever go out anymore, only go to a bar at the end of the day every now and then, and usually order only one drink, to save money. An Irisch Coffee that usually is.
It is so much tougher financially and i take up jobs that are paid little, but due to this lifestyle i try to pay some bills/debts and then it is time to save up and make more time to do the things you have a passion for.it is really important to listen to your inner soul, to say it a bit sentimental. be honest with yourself and get rid of things, look for what really matters and devote your time to it.
it may give a long nagging feeling as you miss some habits, but getting tougher in enduring the soberness of your new lifestyle will be very rewarding after a while.you will also find out you don't really miss those expensive nike's, or getting wasted every weekend or the expensive apt. you used to live in. you simply get closer to yourself.
