My boss tells me, over coffee, that her son, 16, was assaulted and murdered in daylight after school in public in front of municipal building. 4 boys were involved. Tried as juveniles. Two now in college as if nothing happened. Easy to talk about justice harder to apply it. She says nothing brings him back.
Heartbreaking. I can't imagine the void.
