I was listening to hip-hop, I'm guessin', when you were just a hopelessly ambitious gleam in the eye of a wanna-be Pete Nice from the suburbs. Screw Chamillionaire, and the rest of these mainstream jokers who think it's okay to call women bitches, rap about shooting people, give kids rented ice and custom Hummers instead of college dreams to think about, and otherwise waste good air and opportunities to be decent. If you like this crap, that's fine. You have your opinion, I have mine. America's beautiful that way. Just try not to let your absurdly comical righteous indignation raise your blood pressure so much.
Me, I'll stick to my De La Soul, Blueprint, Soul Position, and other positive (albeit largely underground) work that puts this posturing thug crap to shame all week long.
