So, after a few more attempts, it became apparent that there was an obstruction in my urethra franklin. A bit of exploratory work with some eyebrow tweezers revealed it to be a length of baling twine, about 14" long with a small rubber gorilla tied to one end. I haden't seen that since I swallowed it in 1983. I must say it went down easier than it came out.
After that I managed to fire a random sequence of tictacs, gnocchi and some asbestos brickettes until finally we struck liquid gold.
Now I must sleep.Tomorrow the task of removing the parcel tape begins in earnest. No doubt much hair will have to be sacrificed before the job is done.
