What will change if Obama wins? Lots actually. What I think will actually happen:
We will begin to withdraw from Iraq, pursue diplomacy with Iran, 3 more liberal Supreme Court Justices instead of a Supreme Court composed entirely of conservatives, repeal of the Bush tax cuts, unions given more power, net neutrality preserved, probably major infrastructure investments, attempt at universal health care.
Doesn't mean I think the Dems are perfect or free from corruption and I have my doubts whether they will really roll back some of the violations in terms of civil rights from the Bush years. But having control of both houses of Congress and the White House means they will actually be able to get a lot done.
- don't forget honoring writ of habeas corpus, closing down black site prisons, developing alternate fuels and technologies, making college affordable, reforming VA.********
