You see, I really think any reference to the rebuff – even in a joking manner would seem like you were being pissy. Let it go! Be cool. Be cool enough to show you have the balls to accept the rebuff at face value and man-up for another shot. Chicks (in my experience) hate a whingy, sulky head-games.
