Actually, I would say that the kind of “do or die approach is the only thing that might work here, so go and lunge at her while she’s at the photocopier” approach is not what the ladies go for.
If I may be so bold as to suggest, I think if she is interested, but maybe a little uncertain, then attention to detail, sticking to a plan and keeping your cool is going to stand you in better stead than “going all-in on a pair of threes”.
Just be cool.
