Ah, 4G, that sucks. It does sound a bit like an excuse, I have to say. Maybe give it a day or two, act like nothing’s happened and then just casually ask about re-scheduling. If she gives you another lame-o, you know she was never top-shelf from the beginning. If she comes clean and says she’s not interested – no harm, no foul, move on. If it was a genuine reason and things go as you hope, then you have gained major cred by keeping your shit together.
I have a mantra for these types of occasions just say to yourself 5 or 6 times – “just be cool”. It really works.
