Socialist Presidents! "Did you know that all of the Presidents from Woodrow Wilson to Jimmy Carter were "socialists?" In 1917, with Wilson at the helm, the top tax rate was 67 percent. Under President Dwight D. Eisenhower it was 92 percent. President Gerald Ford kept the top tax rate steady at 70 percent. Under President Clinton, where Sen. Obama has pledged to restore it, the top rate was 39.6. Today it is at 35%"
