I live and work in sd.
Might not be a city, but I wasnt looking for one yet. Oc makes me puke. (see fred dick topic)San Diego is one of the most beautifull towns ive been in cali.
The only bad thing is there is a lot of military people.If you already have a job here, great, carlsbad its very nice, awseome wheather everyday, but north county is full of retired people, beside its expensive..
