just kiss her.
if it turns out that shes wanted that, then there you are- and if it turns out that she simply sees you as a friend- then at least you'll know. confidence is key here. one kiss isn't going to make things awkward either, and if nothing else- it will at least get her to see you in a different light- not a 'friends only' light, even if for a moment.
