Seems like it. When I told the guy at Guitar Center (an unfortunate point-of-purchase when you want something RIGHT NOW) I was using a Line 6 Tone Port interface for recording, he just kind of shook his head and said, "uh, you're making the right step up with the duet."
I like the toneport but it goes berserk with Logic 8, which I also picked up earlier this month.
I'm only hoping I can still use the VST mode of the Line 6 Gearbox software, because I fell in love with tons of the included tones. Also, several songs I have in progress used saved tones in Gearbox that, frankly, I have no idea how to duplicate otherwise - not with Logic, and certainly not with my limited guitar gear at home. All my pedals and live stuff is at the practice space.
