Become better friends, be her confidant, speak to her outside of work hours, listen to her tell you about guys she's interested in, get all pissy and sulky when you hear that she's slept with someone, begin dropping hints that you are crazy about her and eaten up with jealousy without ever saying anything directly, make the situation untennable, leave the job in a dramatic yet pathetic cloud of self pity and regret the day you ever met her.
