@formed, @meeklo, etc - delayed response, but whatever....
sadly, lawyers and our legal system in our country have made issues like this not one of only "live and let live" as many of us believe they should be.
when something like this becomes law it opens people who believe differently open to legal pursuit.
because of this, the choice to yes/no a bill like this isn't as simple as "live and let live". it becomes an idealistic choice, where you're faced with propagating your own beliefs or submitting to the beliefs of others.
in that instance, i will choose my beliefs over someone else's 100% of the time.
