    I had a D50 when I first got inito DSLR before I upgraded to a D80. I have to admit that my D50 seemed to get the exposure right better than the D80. I had a lot of problem with my D80's matrix sensor just blowing out the highlight in a tricky condition where my D50 would have gotten perfect. I highly recommend the D50 and wish I didn't bother upgrading to D80.

    Now, I am very happy with my D300.
