I had a ten day sojourn in Maryland at the start of August. Well, I spent a few days in Altoona PA with some friends doing a recording session thing, then down to Cumberland for a few days with one of the band/gang/bunch just noodling around and relaxing really. It was my first week off from work in a year and also my first time ever away from my missus and my little girl, so it was a sort of vacation from my life really. Had a drive up to Frostburg to visit my friend's brother who lives there, and also drove across Maryland, ending up in Annapolis for the last couple of days of my trip.
Annapolis is where I want to live out my days.
I was also meant to meet up with Josh (7.34) but the week before I left he was away, and my mobile phone didn't work over there even though it should so I didn't get any of his messages until i got back to the UK. Actually, if I'm really honest, I just avoided him because I strongly suspect he's a sex pest.
As for the project I'm doing... its all hand drawn stuff and will hopefully look a little bit different to the rest of my work. Its the concept that is interesting though (hopefully) and I have been doing this one to road test the idea. I'm going to put it up on my site as soon as its done so I'll tip you the nod when its there and tell you how I think it might work as a collaboration.
