7.34's post above reminds me of this book i read my kid called "Max's Dragon Shirt"
There's one character in it (this woman clerk) that absolutely pisses me off. She's snotty, rude and very little help. SPOILER: She let's Max the dragon shirt and then gives him ice cream which he gets all over the shirt so they have to pay for it and can't buy the pants. Dumb bunny-bitch.
