Zero 7 reminds me of this bitchy Creative Director I worked for once. She thought she was so cutting edge listening to this kind of adult contemporary crap. Every week she'd be all "I'm really into Zero 7 or Ryan Adams or Dido or some other crap she saw on VH-1 and thought the kids would be into.
For christ sake she was almost 50 and tried to wear those super tall high heel boots, or skirts over jeans or any other Banana Republic/Urban Outfitters mash up outfits.
She also slept with one of the designers, got caught then had to fire him because it was against company policy. Then proceeded to dump him when he couldn't find a new job and support her hip urban lifestyle.
I guess I always think of her when I hear that band and that is why I can't stand it.
