If this is a free magazine and you dont want to spend more time refining the design then yeah the mag fits its purpose and isnt offensive in any way or shite in any way.
I do agree that the articles should have a consistancy about their design. Yes they can all be different spreads etc, but the way you treat blocks of type should be the same to give an "inhouse style".
