I had another really strange dream the other day, which again made me break half out of sleep while it was underway.
Me and another person were using an enormous ray gun contraption to shoot people with and give them abilities. Not super human abilities, just the ability to do something mundane but which nevertheless they couldn't achieve otherwise (talk to a girl, get up a ladder, pick up the shopping). Then just as I was aiming the gun, the other person shot me with another one and the impact of the ray, coupled with the power of the other gun, launched me miles into the air and shot me straight down a volcano. While I was falling down the volcano I could see myself from a third person perspective and as I got faster and faster I split into 2 equal balls of energy; one black and one white, which shot down the volcano, splitting apart and describing a crisscrossing arc over each other before converging as they sped down a tunnel at the bottom of the mountain and coalescing back into me. After this experience I found I had superhuman strength and the power of flight.
Don't remember much then until I reappeared in my childhood room I shared with my little brother. As I lay on my bed in the dark, I was approached by a woman with dark black hair, who terrified me. As she approached she raised both her hands in front of her body, equal distances apart, and seemed to remove some part of my soul before moving off away from me into the shadows. I was compelled to follow with her, as if she were magnetic but instead tried to call and wake my bother on the other side of the room. This is where I half realised I was shouting, but couldn't move my lips as I was asleep (bodily) still. Then someone moved behind me and I realised I was in a different room altogether and was now awake.
anyway, weird.
