The week after I got my 17" G4 powerbook I dumped a cup of coffee in the keyboard during a very late night. Swift reaction from my coworker saved the thing.
Just emptied it out really quickly, blew compressed air in there, and left it upside down over night and everything was fine. After that any time anyone came near the thing with a bevvy I'd get all nervous. Was also paranoid that the thing would spontaneously die one day but it never happened. A friend has it now and it's still going!- i tipped over a bottle of beer on my keyboard one night. Did just about the same thing. Only thing that broke was the backlight.OnesandZeros
