I have only ever done one newsletter but it was a veritable triumph. I'll try and dig it out and shoot it. It was internal, for BA-Ops (British Airways Operations Division) and I did it as a scroll, rolled up. It planned up 3 to an SRa1 sheet and was printed two colour on one side, four colour on the other on a single sided stock (ie uncoated on the back, coated on the front). It was delivered trimmed as flat sheets on palettes and some poor bastard had to roll them up and stack them in the foyer of the building every month for disinterested employees to ignore on their way in / out.

The content was employee generated after launch issue, so it quickly got down to some old bag's knitting anecdotes and an article about the head of finance's collection of dinky cars. I think it got as far as issue four then tragically went out of print.

I for one still dream of the day it is revived.

    • this is a beautiful dream.madirish
    • haha, that's always the way it goes, innit?pylon
