Your work is indeed good, so if you're having trouble finding the job, you might have to work on other issues like your cover letter or resume (as previously mentioned).
I've gotten into places at times, because I researched their work and made specific comments on things I liked, etc... it helps to know about the company that you're trying to impress.
Also, the web stuff... I don't really get the idea that Print design is somehow better than Web in terms of artistry, and vice-versa. Lots more work for web-type jobs, so it wouldn't hurt to put up more web work...
