@akrokdesign: sure, it could be trouble; but the reference was too strong to resist it.
The SF Giants logo is not a registered (®) logo, but carries only the trademark symbol (in some instances), which means that USPTO hasn't registered the mark. The logo we use on WeRunSF is a derivation of it (not the exact SF trademarked logo). This doesn't mean we're safe at all and im not a lawyer, so any advice is welcome.
But in the end that's just a personal website, we're not selling any merchandise or making money out of it, so i hope the Giants lawyers will let us be.Anyways here's the disclaimer: WeRunSF is not endorsed or affiliated with the Major League Baseball or the SF Giants.
