boker makes a knife (the 2040) with a ceramic blade. if a gang of crazies want to try to get blades on planes, they can do it (its not like passengers are gonna ever be complacent during a knife-jacking again though).
in your friend's case, they're making a scapegoat out of him. anyone reading this would do well to accept the fact that they're going to make scapegoats out of EVERYONE they catch from here on out.
