    You know, the only time I use the phrase "My friend(s)..." it's usually because said "friend" is someone I don't know, I am in a drinking establishment, and my "new friend" has just pissed me off - and I'm being just polite enough so he won't suspect I'm about to punch the jackhole in the throat. Most ususally pick up on this and you get the "I am not your friend..." response, and then fisticuffs.

    I kinda sense the same usage from McCain...
