  You can take absolutely any position on any issue and say "Well, it's a slippery slope, where does it stop" and seemingly turn it into a nightmare. Any position (heck, anyTHING) taken to it's extreme will be disastrous.
  For example, McCain would like to overturn Roe v Wade and make abortions illegal. But it's a slippery slope, dictating what women can do with their bodies. What's next? Telling them what they can wear? Who they can sleep with? What sexual acts they may partake in?
