Hey heres a link to a good explanation of how to do it:
http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_home…But if your having trouble with defining the edges that may have to do with the footage itself and how well the key was lit when it was shot. Also I have noticed it is a bit easier and cleaner using HD footage when keying so if thats an option it should help in the future.
