I was downtown yesterday with the gf shopping for a coat. We were at an intersection, stopped at a red light. There was a car a head of us. All of a sudden the driver in the car a head starts going into a seizure. At first I thought she was just rocking out to some metalica. But she stopped and her head slumped to the side. I said to the gf, I think the woman in the car a head of us just passed out, we have to do something.
So at this point the light had turned green, so I threw on the four ways and ran up to the car, and yelled at someone to call 911. A couple of other people ran over to see what was going on. The woman in the car was out of it at this point, we we're not to sure if she was even alive. Her car doors were locked. No one really knew what to do, and we sort of just hovered around the car in shock, feeling somewhat helpless. Luckily her window was open a crack, and one of the people helping was able to get there hands in to unlock the door. One of the helpers was saying, don't touch her another was saying get her out of the car... everyone had an opinion it was chaos. She regained consciousness briefly, only to pass out again thirty seconds later.
At this point the intersection was chaos cars backed up everywhere. Finally a fire truck showed up. and they took it from there.
Even though I had cpr/emergency training, I really didn't know shit when it came to handling that situation.
