Since when are student shows at this time of year? The summer ones used to be good for free beer.
As far as the venue, difficult to comment really as there's so many parts of it, but it's all completely overpriced because it's in what is now a 'cool' area, ie; it's full of wankers wearing top hats and talking loudly about their video art facebook group or some shit.
