    Yes, but the expertise also shows to the experienced people how WITHOUT the experience you end-up spending through the roof.

    Here is an example: i work in film, where a standard work horse is an Arri light (Mac of the lighting world) where each lights unit cost a few hundred $. So i discover those cheap lights that cost $100/light (as opposed to $550/light when it comes to Arri) then put on a cheap soft box ($50, as opposed to $200 from Chimera) and (for $150) get the exact same quality and intensity of illumination as if i spend $750. Now it takes experience to know that this is exact same thing, but for 1/5 of the price.
