    My roommate at the tech school i went to in Florida found a slightly broken wheelchair at the airport and brought it home.For the remainder of the year, i mastered the art of not only the stationary wheelie, but moving while in wheelie position.
    To the point where i could start at the end of the hallway of my apartment, travel down it (about 20ft), out our apartment door, across the landing (about 7ft), into our neighbor's adjacent apartment and all the way down their hall (their apartment was a mirror image of ours). THAT was a red-letter day, for sure!!
