    i'm an expert at this, you should ask me questions about the ego, cos i've studied it and overcome it. I seriously doubt anyone else is more qualified here than me.

    So please, ask away.

    I'd say, one of the "clearest" indications is that you have an emotional feeling - one of threat to your "identity" and a painful need to "assert" your self, or set the record straight.

    Are you feeling uneasy abuot yourself? I would say you've crossed the line if you are.
