Originality is just fucking everywhere, you're just to stupid to see it.
Think about how many new ideas appear on the internet from facebook to youtube. Think about the buildings being built in the world from that french bridge to the olympics stadium in China, think about the genuinely amazing films being made. More books are written now than ever before. Music is more diverse at this moment in time than at any other time in history.
More than anything creativity can make you so so rich these days, that it is prized as much as the ability to do Quantum Physics. Look at the Forbes top 20 richest people in the world, 4 of the top 10 are their because of original ideas.
Originaltiy is increasing and it's increasing everywhere.
My personal belief is that we have slowed evolving physically, but we are evolving at and ever increasing rate mentally, and you will see more and more amazing original thought across all spheres of life, and I don't really see that changing anytime soon.
