BlueOne, I read you loud and clear.
My parents were hard-core democrats through my childhood. They dumped that position when they learned that the corporate titans of USX at the time were Dems (of course in disguise, as they tend to be here in Western PA) and still nothing was left for them when it came time for my father to be released.
I wouldn't go as far to say I'm blind to the fact that socialism is an aspect of our current monetary environment, however, I fail to see what we'd want it to get even bigger!? Would you?
In no way do I support the fact that the Republicans have grown the government (Defense, etc.). At any rate, I don't consider Bush a true conservative.
It's funny here specifically, we've never even had a black mayor. You get A LOT of people that vote Dem just for monetary reasons, not socially. It's going to be verrrrrrrrrry interesting to see how PA pans out this election.
- Indeed, on one hand Obama is up like 13 points in the polls in PA. On the other hand, they are both campaigning like crazy there. PA could decide the election!ukit
- crazy there. PA could decide the election if it swings back to McCain.ukit
- PA funny. James Carville reads it as Alabama. minus Pittsburgh and Philly, except no Blacks.********
