Bob Geldof's 1979 song "I don't like Mondays" was apparently inspired by Brenda Spencer, who shot two and wounded nine in her Cleveland Elementary School playground, San Diego. She is reported to have said she started shooting because, "I don't like Mondays. This livens up the day."
