Well ... was going to pay my rent online for the first time at the behest of a very unpleasant person at the management office. She told me to "yea, you can simply pay online - you just go on and do it". After some squabble back and forth about how I called a week in advance saying I would pay on a certain date.

Lo and be-fucking-hold there are "convenience" fees associated with paying online ... I guess like a stamp? But these are ridiculous!

    Visa: $51
    MasterCard: $32
    Discover: $32
eCheck: $2 (even this is absurd)

The unfortunate part is that they left a "Note with your bill" section and here is what I wrote:

Well, I was told I could "simply pay online". First off, this website is absolutely atrocious. Secondly ... these convenience fees are utterly fucking ridiculous. Are you kidding me? It's not enough you over price the apartments in a vain attempt to make it seem people actually live here and there aren't 10 empty apartments on my floor alone. But you're also too cheap to cover the costs? Mind boggling. Just mind boggling.

    Cheers!

    • Sad part is I've been actually looking at ways to get "amiably asked to leave" in my head, as opposed to thrown out.
