i remember a stupid conversation with a stupid roommate in college once. he was a music snob and purported to know everything there was to know about music.
I made a comment once in passing about how i liked AC/DC's newer vocalist (brian johnson?) but that he'd never be as good as the original (bon scott, i think) he looked at me blankly. he said he didn't know they had 2 vocalists. i said of course they did. they don't sound anything alike FFS! for some reason i took it as a personal offense, but more to the point i probably got hot becuase it was something obvious that he didn't know, and it always felt good to make him feel like a cunt
