    It's complicated... on the one hand you can deduct lots of stuff if you're careful, but on the other, you have to pay much more in taxes, and if you don't pay quarterly, it can add up...

    • keep 30% on the side on every cheque and at the end of the year you can buy tons of RRSP to lower your taxes, etc. I prefer to pay yearly.zarkonite

    • hmm not sure what the american equivalent is. It's a kind of savings bond that lowers your income tax bracket, you buy 1000$ it's like you made 1000$ less in income.zarkonite
    • if you buy 1000$ or RRSP you get 1000$ less income to pay taxes onzarkonite
    • so like a IRA...in the US
