What do you think the images on Getty are there for? I don't see people complaining everytime a CD, book cover or whatever features a stock image so what's the problem with using one on a t-shirt?
The only criticism I have is that it's a pretty straight reproduction of the original pic and hasn't done anything very creative with the image. Hope he paid for it though, if he didn't then he's making money out of someone elses work and that's obviously pretty dodgy.
