I read somewhere today that outside the USA, the vast majority of people would want to see Obama as the next President at astonishing rates close to 90%. The only country where his approval rating was lower was in Russia, and you can guess who they want to see as the next President.
Now I know many Americans couldn't give a toss what the rest of the world thinks, but given recent circumstances, perhaps you fucking well should, or you risk being left out in the cold for generations.
It's somewhat comforting that the opinions expressed here seem to by and large support this theory, but it's the fucken "Joe Six Pack's" that I am worried about. Surely after the crap you guys have endured over the last 8 years, that "Joe Six Pack" would be sick and tired of the bullshit lies, underhand tactics and fear mongering? Or is it now so in-grained into the pysychi of that many people that it is simply irreversible?
If McPalin get elected, god help the USA is all I can say.
